08/10/08: RESET was shown at the Q! Film Festival, Jakarta.
08/06/08: THE DRUMMER was last screened at the Melbourne International Film Festival.
07/20/08: THE DRUMMER was shown at the Asian American International Film Festival in New York. Director Kenneth Bi was in attendance.
06/25/08: THE DRUMMER opened the section "Year of the Dragon" at the Munich Film Festival. Director Kenneth Bi, lead actor Jaycee Chan and myself participated in the Q&A after the screening. THE DRUMMER was also shown at the Moscow International Film Festival.
06/12/08: THE DRUMMER participated at the Sydney Film Festival.
06/10/08: RESET had its premiere at the Alabama cinema, Hamburg. Most members of the cast and crew attended.
06/08/08: THE DRUMMER was shown at the Seattle International Film Festival and came in the Top 5 audience favorites.
05/19/08: Work on Roman Deppe's RESET is completed. The premiere will be held on June 10 at the Alabama cinema, Hamburg, 8.30 p.m.
05/09/08: THE DRUMMER participated in the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

Back from Hong Kong. To have been nominated for Best Original Film Score at the Hong Kong Film Awards for THE DRUMMER has been a wonderful experience. The winner was Joe Hisaishi with his score for THE POSTMODERN LIFE OF MY AUNT. Congratulations.
THE DRUMMER was also nominated for Best Sound Design (Tu Duu Chih & Kuo Li Chi). The awards ceremony was dazzling and we had a lot of fun.

At the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival Tony Leung Ka Fai won the Golden Horse Award for Best Supporting Actor in THE DRUMMER. Congratulations!

Kenneth Bi's THE DRUMMER busily tours the international festivals: the movie competed at the TOKYO FILMeX and at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Gijón.

10/29/07:

THE DRUMMER was part of the competition at the Hawaii International Film Festival and at the 3rd International Eurasia Film Festival.
Roman Deppe's ONE NIGHT IN WILHELMSBURG 3: LAST HOUSE ON THE RIGHT was screened together with the first two Wilhelmsburg films at the Perlen festival and at the "11th Gay/Lesbian Film Week Weiterstadt".

10/23/07:

ONE NIGHT IN WILHELMSBURG 3: LAST HOUSE ON THE RIGHT was shown at the Lesbisch Schwule Filmtage Hamburg, and JONAS AND THE SEA participated at the 1st Seoul International Family Film Festival.

10/11/07:

For the Taiwan premiere of THE DRUMMER Trey Lee once again performed "The Drummer Sonata", this time at the Taiwan Movie Theme Park, Taipei.
10/08/07:

Trey Lee performed The Drummer Sonata at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center for the gala premiere of the movie THE DRUMMER, followed by the drummers from U-Theatre.

10/07/07:

Today cellist Trey Lee performed the world premiere of "The Drummer Sonata" at the Metro City Plaza, Hong Kong. The drummers from U-Theatre also performed, and director Kenneth Bi and actors Jaycee Chan and Lee Sinje attended.
10/03/07:

ONE NIGHT IN WILHELMSBURG 3: LAST HOUSE ON THE RIGHT had its premiere as a double feature with ONE NIGHT IN WILHELMSBURG 2: THE LUCIO FULCI EXPERIENCE at the Alabama cinema, Hamburg. Almost the whole team attended.

10/02/07:

The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to THE DRUMMER has been released by EMI Hong Kong. Apart from my score it also features three tracks by U-Theatre and a song by Monkey Insane.
